Disclaimer
These terms are provided for FedOpp customers and website visitors. They do not create an attorney-client relationship.
Last Updated: September 17, 2026
This Disclaimer applies to the FedOpp websites at https://fedopp.com, https://fedopp.com, and https://app.fedopp.com, and to the FedOpp application, data, alerts, rankings, summaries, and AI-assisted features (collectively, the “Service”). It supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. In the event of a conflict regarding liability or warranty topics, the Terms of Service control to the extent of the conflict, except that this Disclaimer is intended to highlight critical risk points for users.
1. Not a Government Website; No Government Affiliation
FedOpp is not a government website. FedOpp is a privately operated commercial research and intelligence platform. FedOpp is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by any of the following, without limitation:
- SAM.gov or the System for Award Management;
- the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA);
- DIBBS or related DLA solicitation systems;
- USAspending.gov;
- the General Services Administration (GSA);
- any U.S. federal department, agency, bureau, or contracting activity; or
- any state or local procurement portal.
Logos, agency names, solicitation numbers, and references to government systems appear solely for research identification and navigational convenience. Their appearance does not imply partnership, endorsement, or official status. Always treat official government sites as the authoritative source for solicitations, amendments, awards, and submission instructions.
2. Research and Intelligence Tool Only
FedOpp is designed to help users quickly research federal contracting–related information. The Service is a tool, not a decision-maker and not a professional advisor. Use of FedOpp does not replace:
- independent reading of full solicitation packages and amendments;
- consultation with a licensed attorney;
- guidance from a contracting officer or agency point of contact on official channels;
- advice from compliance, finance, or proposal professionals; or
- your organization’s internal bid review and risk processes.
3. Not Legal, Contracting, or Compliance Advice
Nothing on the Service constitutes legal advice, procurement advice, tax advice, or compliance advice. No attorney-client relationship is formed by accessing FedOpp, chatting with AI features, reading summaries, or contacting sales or support. Laws, regulations, clauses, and agency practices change; information that appears helpful in the Service may be incomplete or inapplicable to your facts.
You MUST hire or consult qualified counsel for reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing contracts; for interpreting RFPs, RFQs, and related documents for binding obligations; for certifications and representations; and before submitting bids or signing contractual instruments. FedOpp personnel and automated tools are not your lawyers.
4. AI Features Are Assistive Only and May Be Wrong
FedOpp may offer AI-powered or machine-assisted capabilities such as Ask CCO, CCO Chat, Contract Reader, Match AI, automated summaries, alerts, rankings, and suggestions. These features are assistive only. They may be:
- incomplete;
- inaccurate;
- outdated;
- hallucinated; or
- misleading.
AI outputs may invent clause language, omit amendments, misstate set-aside status, suggest unsuitable matches, or recommend bid/no-bid positions that are inappropriate for your company. FedOpp is not liable for missing solicitations, failed or late alerts, incomplete lists, wrong due dates, bad bid/no-bid suggestions, or any reliance on AI Features or other Service content. Always verify against primary sources on official systems before acting.
5. Government Source Data May Be Delayed or Incorrect
Data displayed in FedOpp may originate from public government feeds, websites, and related research inputs. Government source data may be delayed, incomplete, wrong, duplicated, or later corrected by the issuing agency. FedOpp does not guarantee that you will find all solicitations, awards, or notices relevant to your business, nor that every field in the Service matches the official record at the moment you view it.
6. Bids Happen Off-Site; FedOpp Does Not Submit Bids
All official bidding, quoting, proposal submission, and vendor registration actions occur off-site on government or other official systems. FedOpp does not submit bids, does not file proposals for you, and does not control evaluation or award. Deadlines are enforced by those official systems—not by FedOpp alerts or dashboards. You alone are responsible for timely and compliant submissions.
7. AS IS / AS AVAILABLE; No Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” FEDOPP DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED ACCESS, ERROR-FREE CONTENT, SUCCESSFUL ALERTS, OR RELIABLE AI OUTPUTS.
8. Limitation of Liability (Summary)
As more fully set forth in the Terms of Service, to the maximum extent permitted by law:
- FedOpp is not liable for consequential, incidental, special, indirect, or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities;
- FedOpp is not liable for reliance on research content, AI Features, rankings, or alerts; and
- FedOpp’s aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid to FedOpp in the prior three (3) months or One Hundred U.S. Dollars (US $100), whichever is greater.
Business users may have additional indemnification obligations under the Terms of Service.
9. Pricing Note
Illustrative pricing such as Live Access at approximately $199 per month after trial may appear in marketing materials. Actual fees, taxes, discounts, and plan terms are as presented at checkout and may change. Pricing statements in marketing are not warranties of continued price levels.
10. Acceptable Use Reminder
Users may not scrape the Service, resell FedOpp data as a competing product, abuse the platform, reverse engineer the Service, or share login credentials in violation of the Terms. Violations may result in suspension or termination.
11. Privacy
Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Contact support@fedopp.com for privacy or account questions.
12. Governing Law
Disputes are subject to the governing law, arbitration, class action waiver, and venue provisions in the Terms of Service, which prefer the laws of the State of Iowa, USA, and arbitration or courts in Iowa, as applicable.

14. Practical User Checklist
Before relying on anything you see in FedOpp, we strongly recommend that you:
- Open the official solicitation or award record on the authoritative government system;
- Read the full package, including attachments and amendments;
- Confirm due dates, submission methods, and eligibility in the official source;
- Consult qualified counsel and compliance professionals as needed;
- Treat AI summaries and Match AI suggestions as starting points only; and
